REED Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a leading charitable organisation to find an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Microsoft on-premises infrastructure solutions
- Migrate the organisation to Microsoft 365, including Office 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams
- Align IT infrastructure strategy with organisational goals to drive business outcomes
- Lead infrastructure projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business operations
- Collaborate with various departments to understand and meet their IT infrastructure needs
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions
- Lead infrastructure upgrade projects, including hardware and software updates
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to reinforce infrastructure security
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and integrate them into the organisation's infrastructure
- Supervise and mentor the IT Support Engineer
Requirements:
- Foundation degree or higher in a related field
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure roles focusing on Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco Meraki technologies
- Proven experience in planning and executing migrations to Microsoft 365
