We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dewis CIL. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a child with complex needs, including autism and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and toileting needs
- Support with social outings and community activities
- Provide playtime and engage in activities with the child
- Assist with mealtime and ensure the child is eating safely
- Support with dressing, undressing, and changing the child's nappy
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Respect for confidentiality and working in a home environment
10 hours per week, with evening and weekend work required
Rate of Pay£12.00 per hour, plus 40p mileage allowance
