Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Registered Health Care Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking clinical duties relating to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age groups in community clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vaccination Services: Vaccinate 20 to 25 school children per hour (flu season).
  • Service Development: Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
  • Clinical Supervision: Participate in clinical supervision and the performance and development of staff.
  • Incident Reporting: Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed.
  • Compliance: Comply with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Paramedics and Physiotherapists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Experience: Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Skills: Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule, understands and implements the principles of informed consent, current immunisation training/update or willingness to undertake, computer literate, knowledge of immunisation schedules in accordance with national recommendations, cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport.
  • Personal Qualities: Assertive, team player, and critical thinker.
  • Desirable: Must be able to drive.
