  • A strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including museums, galleries, and other cultural organisations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex information and make informed decisions
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Knowledge of current UK museum trends and opportunities, with a keen eye for innovation and best practice

Working as part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of funded organisations, providing expert guidance on their resilience and growth strategies
  • Broker internal and external relationships to facilitate knowledge sharing and expertise exchange between Arts Council England and its partners
  • Collaborating with local authorities, universities, and business improvement districts to drive positive place-based working and community engagement
  • Reviewing funding applications, writing compelling assessments to inform decision-making panels

We offer a competitive salary of £36,987 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid and flexible working, a generous annual leave allowance, and the Arts Council Retirement Plan – a final salary scheme.
