Job Summary

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Spilsby, Lincoln. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome learning barriers and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEMH needs in a specialist SEMH school
  • Implement agreed learning activities and adjust resources to meet individual needs
  • Develop strong speaking and listening skills to extend concepts and language with students
  • Work collaboratively with Class Teachers to establish a supportive learning environment
  • Establish a productive working relationship with students and promote their academic and personal development
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
