Commercial Finance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant: Commercial Finance to join our client, a leading player in their sector. With over 5000 employees across multiple sites, they have established a strong presence in the North East and a reputation for providing top-tier service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Requirements
  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified.
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
