Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant to join our team at Accelerate Teaching. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to a child diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in a two-form entry primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to the child, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages academic and social growth.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher, SENCO, and other support staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience working in a school-based environment.
  • Strong background in supporting children with ADHD or similar needs.
  • Deep understanding of how to create a structured, supportive environment that enables children to thrive.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What We Offer:

  • Daily pay rate of between £90 - £110, depending on experience and qualifications.
