Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of around £85,000-£110,000 per annum for this exciting role as a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in our CAMHS Learning Disabilities service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training, participating in continuous professional development, and actively participating in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with multi-agency partners across East and West Berkshire, and co-locate with the Community Paediatric Services for East and West Berkshire.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge, and experience in managing children and young people with complex needs spanning multiple agencies, with mental health and learning disability problems alongside behavioural issues.

In return, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new service for children and young people with mental health and learning disability needs, and pursue your own interests, whether they lie in R&D, QI, or management & leadership.
