Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at the Wayman Learning Trust. As a Specialist Autism Education Lead, you will be responsible for teaching small groups of students with autism, delivering personalised lessons based on individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) and track student progress closely.
  • Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and external agencies to provide holistic support to students with autism.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with students with autism, ideally in a full-time permanent position.
  • Knowledge of autism support strategies and their effective implementation.
  • A valid DBS check is mandatory for this role.
