About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Adult Safeguarding Advisor to join our Front Door Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality information and advice on Council and partner services to individuals contacting us via various channels.

You will work closely with residents, exploring all available preventative options, connecting people to local services and communities. Your role will involve identifying known adults, new referrals, and unpaid carers to offer them the best user journey and experience possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work creatively with residents to identify needs and risks within statutory frameworks, using a strengths-based and person-centred approach.
  • Have good, clear, open conversations with people to identify strengths and networks, providing a range of preventative services to support independence.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of services in the local community.
  • Take responsibility for consistent, accurate, clear, and timely case recording.
  • Be an excellent team player and flexible in your approach to work, supporting colleagues within the team and the wider organisation.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and raise them in a timely manner, being proactive in seeking support when needed.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

This is a busy team with a fast throughput of work; therefore, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage your own caseload are essential. We would like to hear from people who are passionate about delivering the best services to our residents.

A Social Care qualification (e.g., NVQ II, III, etc.) is required.
