Avionics Maintenance Team Deputy

Are you a skilled Avionics professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in maintenance and leadership? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Team Leader to join our team at RAF Valley.

About the Role:

  • Oversee a team of 3 technicians and 2 supervisors in the daily operations of the avionic component maintenance facility.
  • Allocate repair and maintenance tasks to the team, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Update records and documentation on component repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss operational priorities and strategies.
  • Report to the maintenance team leader on progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree, Higher National Diploma, Higher National Certificate, or BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in engineering, NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar qualification.
  • Avionics maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
