Job Description

**Job Title:** Deputy Maintenance Avionics Team Leader

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Location:** Remote (UK Defence Security Clearance Required)

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Maintenance Avionics Team Leader to join our team. As a Deputy Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely repairs, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination of avionic components.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee a team of 3 technicians and 2 supervisors on the daily operations of the avionic component maintenance facility.
  • Allocate repair and maintenance tasks to the team, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Update records and documentation on component repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss operational priorities and strategies.
  • Report to the maintenance team leader on progress and any issues encountered.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant degree, Higher National Diploma, Higher National Certificate, or BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in engineering, NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar qualification.
  • Avionics maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
