Powertrain Integration Specialist

We are seeking experienced Powertrain Integration/Component Engineers to join our team at The Recruitment Bunker. As a Powertrain Integration/Component Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and integration of powertrains into new vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with external engine and component suppliers to specify and design powertrain as installed systems and components.
- Collaborate with the DRVN packaging team to ensure seamless integration of powertrain systems.
- Manage tasks with design and project engineering support within the powertrain team.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for powertrain systems.
- Support purchasing team by providing technical content for RFQs and technical evaluation of commercial offerings.
- Work closely with Manufacturing to agree feasible manufacturing solutions and to control the engineering change process.
- Engineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subject.
- Experience of design and development of one or more major powertrain as installed components or systems.
- Ability to work flexibly within the role and adapt to the varying level of involvement required to support individual systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently within your role.
- Excels in organisational skills and time management.
- A drive to learn and improve at every opportunity.
- Salary - £35,000 - £55,000.
- Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
- Pension.
