Job Title:

Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner - Initial Response Service

Hourglass Staffing is seeking a qualified Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Lancashire. As a key member of our Initial Response Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to service users and others, and develop effective management plans to mitigate these risks.
  2. Professional Judgment: Utilize your expertise to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all parties involved.
  3. Shift Work: Be prepared to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, to provide 24/7 coverage for our service.
Position Details:
  • Location: Lancaster
  • Work Pattern: Shifts covering a 24/7 service (Full-time or Part-time)
  • Umbrella Rates:
    • Day Rate: £27.56 per hour
    • Saturday & Night Rate: £32.39 per hour
    • Sunday Rate: £37.69 per hour
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Possess a relevant qualification in mental health, such as a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) certification.
  2. Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record of experience in risk assessment and management, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
