**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Private Rented Sector Advisor to join our Homelessness Prevention and Housing Options Team (HP&HOT). In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals at risk of homelessness in Edinburgh.

Salary: £32,010 - £37,626 per year

Location: 249 High Street, Edinburgh

Job Description:

The Private Rented Sector Advisor will work closely with individuals, landlords, and other stakeholders to provide tailored housing options advice, information, and support referrals. Key responsibilities include developing and promoting the service, collaborating with statutory services and partner organisations, and participating in key decisions about customer entitlement to services.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on housing options to individuals at risk of homelessnessDevelop and promote the service to customers, including landlords and relevant agenciesCollaborate with statutory services and partner organisations to ensure effective delivery of servicesParticipate in the development of the service and contribute to key decisions about customer entitlement to services
