About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team, responsible for leading arboriculture projects from planning through to execution. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, while maintaining our high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Job Description

The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Oversee all stages of arboriculture projects, ensuring completion within timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Pricing and Cost Management: Collaborate with the Commercial team on project pricing, providing accurate estimates that reflect project scopes and resources.
  • Team Leadership: Manage site teams effectively, fostering a safe, productive, and collaborative environment.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while aligning with Ground Control's standards.
  • Compliance and Health & Safety: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices, emphasizing arboriculture-specific compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Arboriculture Expertise: Proven background in arboriculture project management, with knowledge of the specific demands and regulations involved.
  • Pricing Acumen: Experience in project pricing, with the ability to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Leadership & Communication: Effective at motivating teams and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
