About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Human Communication Analyst to join our team at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. This exciting opportunity will involve processing, analysing and modelling data from an audio-visual corpus of dyadic interaction between caregivers and their children. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Data Science, Psychology, Linguistics or Cognitive Science and experience with complex data sets, data visualisation, writing code and data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out data analysis, modelling and visualisation using R and Python
  • Manage large datasets and ensure accurate data archiving for public distribution
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop skills as a Data Scientist within the domain of human communication

About You

The successful candidate should have a strong background in Data Science, Psychology, Linguistics or Cognitive Science and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.

As a Senior Human Communication Analyst, you will receive a competitive salary of £43,000 per annum (pro rata), plus benefits including 41 days' holiday, additional annual leave purchase scheme, defined benefit pension scheme and cycle to work scheme.
