About the Position
Vision for Education - Preston is recruiting for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to work with children who require additional support in their education. This role involves building positive relationships with students, planning and delivering Maths and English lessons, and implementing strategies to maintain focus and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Maths & English lessons to students with EHCPs for Special Educational Needs
- Work with schools to gain schemes of work and report any issues or concerns
- Complete weekly reports of student engagement and attainment, record weekly attendance figures
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS)
- Proven experience of instructing or teaching young people
- Ability to work around Preston
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
