About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Compass Learning Centre, working predominantly within our new and exciting off-site provision, Compass Plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Contribute to the delivery of classroom subjects and outdoor education activities
  • Form positive relationships with students and staff
  • Work collaboratively with specialist instructors and other professionals
Requirements
  • Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant status
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics
  • Experience working with young people with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Ability to promote the inclusion of all students and contribute to safeguarding and protection
