About the Role

Your new company is a leading UK distribution company based in Preston, supplying a wide range of industrial products to diverse customers within the industrial manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the internal sales team, focusing on growth and development, as well as managing the existing customer base.
  • Work Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 4:15pm and Friday 08:00am - 1:15pm.
  • Manage data, analyse trends, and oversee the sales team and office, while maintaining a focus on a specifically assigned customer base.
  • Encourage the team to make outbound sales calls to prospects, drop-offs, lapsed customers, and support the progression of new customers to generate revenue, develop business, and secure margin.
  • Help the business progress and make improvement changes to reduce time and save money.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need strong organisational skills, act as a main point of contact, and proactively grow customer and sales forecast targets.

Previous proven experience working in a busy customer service and sales office environment is required, along with excellent all-round IT skills, highly proficient with all modules of MS Office.
