We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Support Specialist to support the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of students. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, ensuring that students reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents. They will also possess a keen understanding of child development and educational theories, enabling them to provide effective support to students with diverse needs.

As an Educational Support Specialist at St Anselm's Catholic School, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with experienced teachers to deliver high-quality education. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the class teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Providing individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and access to our employee assistance program.
