Educational Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEMH Educational Support Worker to join our team in a mainstream secondary school, working with students who require additional support due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position as a SEMH Educational Support Worker, working closely with a dynamic team of educators and professionals to provide one-to-one support and small group work for SEMH students. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment, promoting positive relationships and fostering trust and confidence among students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and small group work for SEMH students
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans for SEMH students
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the team
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications are a plus
