Special Educational Needs Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Educational Needs Support Worker to join our team in Wirral. As a key member of our primary school community, you will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include delivering one-to-one support, collaborating with teachers to develop educational programs, and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, addressing specific learning difficulties and promoting independence.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, with a strong understanding of their unique requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.

Salary Range: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience), reflecting the significance of this role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.
