Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to support a young woman with a neuromuscular condition in her family home in Harlow. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, medication administration, domestic tasks, and food preparation. You will also accompany the client to work, travelling, and socialising, using your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to the client, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer medication as required, maintaining accurate records
- Prepare meals and manage household chores
- Accompany the client to work, appointments, and social events, providing transportation and companionship
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Basic knowledge of medication administration and personal care
