Patient Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Transport Coordinator at University College Hospital London. This is a full-time opportunity with 45 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
This role is ideal for someone who can effectively manage patient journeys, coordinate operational staff, and provide excellent communication skills to the public and healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities- To ensure the efficient and safe day-to-day operation of patient transportation services by coordinating journey distribution and managing operational staff.
- To provide timely and effective communication links with the public, healthcare professionals, and other agencies, responding to service queries and complaints.
- To receive and record patient-related information on computer terminals, utilizing control systems for planning and resource management.
- To communicate journey details to vehicle crew staff via phone and mobile data terminals, updating the computer system accordingly.
- To collaborate with G4S Patient Transport Contracts, staff, and other agencies using telephone and email.
