Job Description: We are seeking a talented Governance Manager to join our team at Hurst Point Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our product governance framework, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.

About the Job: In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to develop, implement, and maintain strong product governance frameworks. Your expertise in UK financial regulations, particularly Consumer Duty, will be invaluable in helping us stay compliant and deliver exceptional client outcomes. You will also have the chance to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure due diligence processes are in place across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong product governance frameworks, ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
  2. Oversee product reviews, ensuring existing products and services remain suitable and compliant.
  3. Manage new product introductions, including conducting risk assessments, securing necessary approvals, and coordinating Central Business Cases.
  4. Oversee and periodically review Target Market Assessments (TMAs) and Fair Value Assessments (FVAs), ensuring these are accurately maintained.
  5. Manage and review Risk of Harms assessments, with a focus on the proper treatment of Vulnerable Clients.
  6. Maintain oversight of Consumer Duty Dashboards and metrics, keeping everything in line with compliance requirements.
  7. Oversee due diligence processes across the value chain, including those with asset managers and IFAs.
  8. Keep an eye on regulatory developments, implementing new processes as needed to stay compliant.
  9. Prepare board papers, annual attestations, and regular reports on product governance matters, including conducting peer group comparisons and competition analysis.

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
