The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join its Information Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on data protection requirements, including privacy by design and data protection impact assessments.

The role will involve working closely with the University's divisions and departments to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, as well as developing and implementing University-wide guidance and policy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of data protection law and GDPR, excellent information retrieval and analytical skills, and the ability to assess risk and find pragmatic solutions.

As a Data Protection Specialist, you will play a key role in improving the privacy practices within the University and ensuring the safe processing of personal data.
