About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage and Protection Specialist to join our team in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and growing our mortgage and protection business by providing professional advice to both new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, customer-driven service by identifying customer needs for mortgage and mortgage-related protection products and advice that best meet their needs.
  • Deliver agile and flexible services to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice.
  • Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, helping them achieve a mortgage package tailored to their individual requirements.
  • Recognise the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and make referrals to other areas of the bank where their wider needs can be met.
  • Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships and responsibly generate new business.

Requirements

  • You must hold RO1 / CF1 and CF6 (or CeMAP or equivalent) qualifications.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers.
  • Be able to seek out and build on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area.
  • Deliver satisfactory compliance and quality measures.
  • Have experience of personally complying with business processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Have a track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment.
