Electrical Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Training Specialist to join our MTC Training Team in Coventry.

This role involves delivering high-quality electrical bias training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs. You will also support the delivery of topics aligned with your expertise to ensure a smooth learning experience for our apprentices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective delivery of electrical-based subjects, focusing on practical and theoretical skills.
  • Supporting the delivery of level 2, 3, and HNC programs, with a focus on developing independent learners and enabling apprentice progression.
  • Managing physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure efficient training and assessment.

Requirements:

  • Industry-related qualifications, such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's in Maths and English grade C or above.

Desirable qualifications include CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications, Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification, and Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.

We are looking for a candidate with high-level engineering knowledge, preferably gained from several years of industrial experience, and experience of best practice in key competencies, such as electrical or mechanical installation.
