Patient Flow Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Patient Flow Specialist to join our team at Sussex Community NHS Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, with a focus on patient flow and coordination.
In this role, you will work closely with our Site Capacity & Flow Lead to manage patient flow from acute providers to and across our Intermediate Care Units. You will also ensure that all bed capacity across the Trust is utilised effectively while maintaining safe, high-quality care for patients.
You will need to be able to collaborate with external stakeholders and partner organisations to address urgent care local pressure and system surges. Additionally, you will require the ability to analyse data and information from various sources to make informed decisions promptly and decisively.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our Site Capacity & Flow Lead to manage patient flow from acute providers to and across our Intermediate Care Units.
- Ensure effective utilisation of bed capacity across the Trust while maintaining safe, high-quality care for patients.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and partner organisations to address urgent care local pressure and system surges.
- Analyse data and information from various sources to inform decision-making.
We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £56,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements- NMC registration or other Healthcare professional qualification.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Ability to interpret data and information from a range of sources.
- Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Access to a vehicle to travel between sites.
