Job Description

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is seeking a skilled Senior CAMHS Practitioner to join our team at South Tyrone Hospital. As a Band 7 CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Salary: £62,000 - £83,400 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: South Tyrone Hospital

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead multidisciplinary teams in providing care to children and adolescents with mental health conditions
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures related to CAMHS services
  • To provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff members
  • To contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Requirements
  • A doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as clinical psychology or social work
  • At least 5 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Expertise in leadership and management, with a proven track record of success
  • Able to work strategically and collaboratively with stakeholders
