Job Summary

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Band 7 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Salary: £62,000 - £83,400 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: South Tyrone Hospital

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and diagnose mental health conditions in children and adolescents
  • To develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • To provide counseling, therapy, and support to patients and their families
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or nursing
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
