About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our Clinical Pharmacy team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a valued member of the team, you will provide a safe, efficient, and effective pharmaceutical service, with a focus on ordering and dispensing in-patient and discharge prescriptions.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in the provision of a comprehensive ward-based clinical service, ensuring timely dispensing of medications for patients. Ensure safe and secure transfer of medication to other wards within the hospital, and assess patients' own medication for safe use.

Key Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2
  • Able to prioritise own workload
  • Can work as part of a team
