Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and high-quality production of our products. The role involves working principally Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift role, 40 hours a week, with flexible shifts that can change with the business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete general laboratory preparation and analysis
- Conduct analytical and microbiological sampling
- Apply techniques to ensure product consistency and high quality
- Utilise media and laboratory equipment effectively
- Record and report results accurately
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements:
- Recent university graduate or individual with laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Previous knowledge and understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
