About the RoleAs a Mechanical Engineering apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems. You will work on a variety of projects, including mechanical design, simulation, and testing, and will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components
- Conduct simulations and testing to validate design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
- Study for a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Hertfordshire
- Fully funded qualification starting September 2025
- Paid travel expenses to and from your place of study
- Annual pay reviews
- 25 days annual leave (plus holiday purchase) and up to 15 days flexi leave
- Study leave during exam periods
- 5 GCSEs including Maths & English Language & Science/Technology at a Grade 9 - 4
- 120 UCAS points achieved through:
- 3 A-levels, including Maths PLUS physics or technology or an engineering subject
- T-Level in an Engineering subject
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma including a Distinction in Further Maths
Please note: We do not include UCAS points gained from an Extended Project Qualification.
