We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship programme. As a Mechanical Engineering apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world engineering environment while studying for a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Hertfordshire.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineering apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems. You will work on a variety of projects, including mechanical design, simulation, and testing, and will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct simulations and testing to validate design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Study for a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Hertfordshire
What We Offer
  • Fully funded qualification starting September 2025

  • Study leave during exam periods
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English Language & Science/Technology at a Grade 9 - 4
  • 120 UCAS points achieved through:
  • 3 A-levels, including Maths PLUS physics or technology or an engineering subject
  • T-Level in an Engineering subject
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma including a Distinction in Further Maths

Please note: We do not include UCAS points gained from an Extended Project Qualification.
