Xenon Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced and qualified Audit professional to join their team as an Audit Manager. This prestigious Accountancy firm offers a Hybrid working environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
THE JOB
The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors. This will include developing client relationships, ensuring expectations are managed, and overseeing a team of staff. The successful candidate will report directly to partners/directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, supervising, and reviewing accounts, audit, and corporation tax for client portfolios.
- Coordinating ad-hoc advisory work and liaising with other departments as required.
- Supervising staff and providing assistance regarding technical queries and professional development.
- Effective portfolio management, agreeing budgets with clients, and billing on agreed terms.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
- Working with partners and directors to plan and develop the audit and assurance offering, anticipating technical changes in the sector, and exploring new opportunities.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified candidate with Audit experience within accountancy practice.
- Proficient technical ability (IFRS and UK GAAP).
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, with a genuine appetite for growth.
- Analytical and well-organized approach.
- Self-motivation to take initiative for personal growth and development.
