About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our award-winning team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Senior MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a varied caseload, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized physiotherapy management plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other staff to progress rehabilitation and treatment programmes.
  • Manage potentially stressful, upsetting, or emotional situations in an empathetic manner.
  • Supervise Band 5 physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants, and participate in the appraisal scheme as an appraisee.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security of self and others.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • A proven history of providing patient-centred care within physiotherapy services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of MSK pathways and iMSK pathways.
