Join the NHS team as a Modern Matron in our Learning Disability Division, where you will lead high-quality care delivery to adults with learning disabilities across Birmingham. This dynamic role offers a chance to shape service development, drive quality improvement, and provide compassionate leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be flexible and adaptable, and have a passion for promoting good practice within multi-professional working. As a Modern Matron, you will oversee clinical effectiveness, manage complex caseloads, and work closely with the Service Manager to ensure safe staffing and waiting time performance.
In partnership with the Divisional colleagues, you will constantly review and improve services, considering local and national guidelines. Your expertise will help develop strategic overviews for continuing quality improvement within services, providing leadership and clinical support to clinical staff.
A comprehensive understanding of the quality agenda for the NHS is essential, along with knowledge of the current NHS framework and robust understanding of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. The ability to lead improvements for both patients and the workforce is crucial.
