Job Title: Clinical Team Leader for Trauma and Orthopaedics

We are seeking an experienced and motivated healthcare professional to join our team as a Clinical Team Leader for Trauma and Orthopaedics.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • You will be responsible for supporting the management of clinical and operational processes within the Fracture Clinic, liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • As a Clinical Team Leader, you will be accountable for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes using UHCWi methodology.
  • You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the management of clinical and operational processes within the Fracture Clinic.
  2. Liaise with members of the Multidisciplinary Teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes using UHCWi methodology.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety and well-being.
  5. Demonstrate highly technical and/or practical clinical skills to ensure optimum patient management.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, acting as patient advocate when necessary.
  7. Monitor and manage stock levels within the Fracture Clinic, ensuring cost-effectiveness and appropriateness for treatments provided.
  8. Utilize information and IT systems effectively to record patient information and outcomes accurately and timely.
  9. Participate in local, Trust wide, and national audits to maintain and improve standards to meet KPIs.
Person Specification:
  • Registered Health Professional with experience in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with strong time management skills.

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
