Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: c£90k basic plus competitive package inc car allowance, healthcare and leading pension scheme.

A leading Main Contractor with a stable pipeline of secured projects across Cambridgeshire is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their business. The role involves managing a small team with hands-on surveying on a key project. There is a clear pathway for career development and progressing within the senior leadership team in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Producing CVRs and managing team workload to include applications for payment from sub-contractors, variations and preparation of final accounts.
  2. Reporting at a senior level to directors and helping build the team and overall growth of the region.

Desirable Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior or Managing QS on new build projects c£10m+.
  2. Experience working on 2-stage projects would be advantageous.
  3. Previous roles: Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Managing QS OR Commercial Manager OR Lead Quantity Surveyor OR Principal Quantity Surveyor or Project Surveyor.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
