Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial delivery of key projects, working closely with site teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement and delivery management
  • Subcontractor management, including procurement, delivery, and final account resolution
  • Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) process leadership, ensuring alignment with Profit Take and Revenue Recognition Rules
  • Upstream change management, from Early Warning Notices (EWNs) to final
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally in a main contractor role
  • NEC contract expertise, with knowledge of other forms of contract highly desirable
  • Strong competency in the NEC process
  • Ability to lead the CVR/reporting process, with capacity to mentor and support junior QS staff
