About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Orbis Education and Care. As a key member of our Estates Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of up to 12 members, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure they excel in their roles.
  • Maintain the quality of work performed by your team, ensuring compliance with company health and safety systems and HSE legislation.
  • Coordinate skilled workers for specific tasks and provide direct support to estate managers.
  • Be available on call when necessary and complete reports using specialized software on all work carried out.
  • Maintain open and direct communication with estate managers and all relevant teams.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing a team within a similar role.
  • Ability to track and submit accurate time sheets.
  • Previous experience using field maintenance software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to carry out inspections and report for final approval.
  • CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
