Job Summary

Windmill Surgery is seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of our patients.

Main Duties of the Job

We are looking for an individual who is confident in managing asthma and COPD conditions, with experience in chronic disease management. You will be responsible for supporting patients with the management of their asthma and COPD conditions, as well as developing and implementing effective care management programs for frail and housebound patients. You will also be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing healthcare that is appropriate and evidence-based, and developing and implementing health promotion and wellbeing programs.

About Us

Windmill Surgery is a two-partner practice supported by salaried GPs, a Physician Associate, and a dedicated nursing team that provides care for over 8,000 NHS patients. We are an Emis Web Practice, using Docman and AccuRx, and are located in a modern purpose-built building with a staff car park.
