About the Role

This leadership position involves operational management of the Audiology portfolio and other delegated services across Powys, encompassing lead roles in specific clinical audits, research, and quality improvement projects. As a key professional leader within the Therapies and Healthcare Science services, you will provide expert advice to the Audiology Service and the organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Master's level of education or equivalent experience in audiology or a related field
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or The Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NHS healthcare system and national standards
  • Leadership or management qualification/training
  • Risk management training
  • Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

You will also need to have:

  • Varied post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial planning
  • Experience of managing a range of HR issues
  • Business and workforce planning experience
  • Experience of managing and delivering change
  • Proven track record of delivering against set objectives and achieving key targets and analyzing complex information on a range of clinical and professional topics

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum based on location and qualifications.
