Job Title: Early Help Case Manager

We are working closely with a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of an Early Help Case Manager, on a 1-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, young people, and their families, and will be able to deliver the targets set down in the service and team business plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the lead professional in Early Help cases, following service guidance
  • Complete structured assessments and planning, to commission, facilitate or deliver interventions plans and undertake reviews of children, young people, parents, carers, and families, in line with service guidance
  • Chair multi-agency Team Around the Family/Child meetings
  • Keep timely and accurate records of work, including running records and the entry of data as specified
Requirements:
  • A professional qualification (including assessed practice) at NVQ level 4 or above
  • A minimum of three years experience of working with children, young people, and their families
  • Experience of managing challenging situations
Important:
  • The successful candidate will be available to work immediately or at short notice
  • The candidate must have the right to work in the UK
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
