Job Title: Head of Community Support

Leeds Jewish Welfare Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our community support and activities team. As Head of Community Support, you will be responsible for developing and managing our services to meet the needs of our beneficiaries and funding regimes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that is committed to positively changing lives. As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the strategic management of our service and help achieve our vision, mission, aims, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage our community support and activities team to deliver high-quality services to our beneficiaries.
  • Ensure that our services are developed in line with the needs of our beneficiaries and funding regimes.
  • Contribute to the strategic management of our service and help achieve our vision, mission, aims, and objectives.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of our services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community groups.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification in Social Care for Adults and/or Children.
  • Proven experience in social work, health, housing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and budgets.
  • Passion for serving communities and driving positive change.
