About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Development Lawyer with Corporate Specialism to join our team at Baker McKenzie. As a key member of our Knowledge Services team, you will be responsible for managing and executing legal content development projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain high-quality legal content, including precedents, current awareness, and commercial/industry know-how.
  • Develop and implement Knowledge solutions to support the firm's business objectives.
  • Provide expert legal input into client-facing initiatives and other business development resources.
  • Identify and lead content development Knowledge projects and initiatives aligned with our Knowledge services and strategy.
  • Support and work closely with the Lead Knowledge Lawyers, Senior Manager for Content Development, and other Knowledge Specialists to ensure the consistent delivery and standard of excellent Knowledge services.
Requirements
  • Experience as a practising lawyer with company law experience (Mergers & Acquisitions or Private Equity).
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage and consult with multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders, and communicate effectively in a large, multi-cultural, multi-level environment.
  • Highly credible and persuasive, with strong relationships-building skills.
  • Ability to drive results with a sense of urgency in planning and executing work.
