About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Head of SEN to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for leading our Special Educational Needs team and ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the SEN team to deliver high-quality education and support to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and support
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to SEN

Requirements
  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and National Award for SEN Co-ordination / NPQ for SENCOs
  • Experience working with students with SEN and managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
