Portfolio and Programme Support Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio and Programme Support Lead to join our team at Peregrine. As a key member of our PMO, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our clients' projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate high-quality PM&C / PMO processes across a large, complex portfolio of projects, supporting portfolio delivery leads, programme managers, and project managers.
- Provide assurance and guidance on the application of PM&C practices, ensuring consistency and adherence to governance requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of programme and portfolio-level governance processes, including risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Collaborate with programme and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Produce and review complex project schedules, resource plans, and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams, influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme and portfolio objectives.
- Comprehensive PM&C experience, demonstrated in a professional role within a business or project.
- Practised PM&C / PMO professional with experience of operating in a highly governed PMO and of providing assurance.
- Broad knowledge and experience of working on complex programmes, with a strong understanding of risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, collate, and analyse complex information from multiple sources.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to capture, evaluate, and share good practice.
