Job Title: Programme Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly effective Programme Lead to ensure the successful delivery of the Work Well Partnership Programme. The Programme Lead will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing programme and project plans to agreed milestone delivery dates, resolving issues, and initiating corrective action as appropriate.

About the Role:

The Programme Lead will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the SROs for this programme to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
  • Identifying key deliverables for the programme, milestones, and outcomes and producing a schedule for delivery, in conjunction with the leads in each of the 7 localities.
  • Leading the coordination, development, preparation, and implementation of programme and project plans to agreed milestone delivery dates, resolving issues, and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Setting up and planning the project(s) including project steering groups, project assurance function, and any project teams, including project documentation.
  • Ensuring that financial reporting and governance of the programme is discharged effectively by the ICB, within the terms of the national grant agreement for Work Well.
  • Maintaining the programme governance arrangements to ensure a robust audit trail of project outputs, outcomes, and benefits.
  • Supporting the development of a wider strategy for Work and Health under the auspices of the Lancashire and South Cumbria ICP - this will draw direct learning from the Work Well programme.
About Us:

The Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) was formally established as a new statutory body on 1 July 2022. Our role is to join up health and care services, improve people's health and wellbeing, and to make sure everyone has the same access to services and gets a positive experience from treatment. We also oversee how money and resource is utilised to ensure that funding is spent to ensure health services are effective, consistent, and of high standard.

This role is fundamentally about partnership working between the NHS, local councils, employers, and community organisations.
